Subject: [TCG] Meeting Minutes 11/10

The November meeting of the Tennessee Contest Group was called to order at
about 10:30 central time at the Old Country buffet in Goodlettsville.

The nominations were held for 2002 officers. The nominee for Facilitator has
declined, at least for the moment. The nominee for Executive Assistant is
Jeff, NY4N.

Nominations for Facilitator remain open. Elections will be held at the
December 1 meeting.

We discussed following the SECC (I think that who is was) to
appoint/assign/volunteer an idividual for each contest to drum up activity
for that contest and remind folks about times and dates for the
administration of that contest. Kind of a "cheerleader" of sorts. Everyone
agreed that it would be a good idea. We do that already for the NAQPs so it
would be an extension of that.

Discussed adding a most improved category for next year's Radio Acitive
report. Also, there was a desire to see a number of QSOs made per contest. I
believe that I includ that but the postings of the report may be getting
jubled by the internet. I'll work on getting a more reliable output.

Next meeting will be Saturday, December 1 at the Old Country Buffet in
Goodlettsville. 10 AM CENTRAL time (1600z).
