The January 2000 meeting was held at the home of NY4T and KF4GKN.  The
following signed the roster: NY4T, KF4GKN, K4OOO, WO4O, W4CAT, W4NI,
K3CQ, KG4ERF, KE4JUH, NN4T, N4PQV, W4TD, KF4PPA, Ramona Roth and KD4BAM.

a brief business meeting was held.  There was discussion on upcoming
contests, the remaining meeting schedule and other issues.  Larry,
K4OOO, made a suggestion that TCG make an effort to get involved in
presenting ham radio to young people and students and was asked to form
an exploratory committee pursuant to determining the feasibility of such
an action and implementing this action if it was determined feasible.

NY4T gave a brief tour of the station (it's a brief station) including
the legendary wire farm.  The meeting adjourned quickly so that NAQP
participants could get to their operating position by starting time.

I will make an announcement shortly on the location of the February
meeting.  We have several meeting locations determined already.  Steve,
NN4T will again host TCG for a pool party in August.  Tom, K1KY, will
open the CatHouse for a meeting and Jeff, K4JNY, will host a general TCG
meeting in the eastern part of the state.  Scheduling for these has not
yet been determined.
