The Middle Tennessee section of the TCG met at 9:30 at the Old Country
Buffet in Hendersonville (Rivergate) with attendees including: K4OO
(ex-KD4AWF) & non-ham guest; K4RO; WO4O; WD4K; K4JNY; K4AMC; K0EJ; NY4T,
XYL KF4GKN, and contester-in-training Hope; new member Bill W4AUI of
Franklin; and myself.

Official business discussed included a decision to accept the Nashville
ARC's offer of tables at the Nashville Hamfest on May 1. (this is
apparently a date change as those at the meeting believed it was after
Dayton) Last year, these tables were used to distribute TCG literature,
play contest-related video tapes, and run a demonstration of the TRLog
software. Also, the idea of a TCG club QSL design came up again. Jack
W4KH had prepared some proposed designs last year; I will be scanning
these at work sometime next week & forwarding the files to K4RO for
posting on the Web page. (Scott, would you like me to send you the
samples after I get them scanned?) Last but certainly not least, we
welcomed a new member, W4AUI, who inquired about membership last week
and took us up on an invitation to join us at the meeting.

The remainder of the meeting was occupied with the typical informal
antenna discussion, with low-band receiving antennas (primarily
Beverages) the primary topic.

As of this date (not counting any new members signed up in East
Tennessee) TCG has 60 ARRL-eligible members and 110 affiliate
members/supporters.
