TCG meeting minutes December 18, 1999. 

It was nice to see the good turnout for the December TCG meeting. 
Thanks for your support in electing me Facilitator for the coming year

I don't have a lot of innovations to add for the coming year since this
club seems to be doing quite well.  I do plan to start a rotating
meeting schedule between Hendersonville, Rutherford Co., and Nashville. 
I will post the sked to the group when I get it ready but I am leaning
toward holding the January meeting in Nashville.  Old Country Buffet has
been a great meeting place and has excellent food so I hope we can find
something adequate in Nashville and Rutherford Co.  Perhaps one of the
Shoney's locations would have room for us.  If you know of something
better, let me know.

Bill, N4ZI, suggested we attack the problem of stations who refuse to
identify by issuing a "QRZ Lid Letter" and distributing it to the
offenders as well as posting it on the web.  I think this is a great
idea since this problem definitely needs addressing.  I am proud to say
that all of the TCG stations I've ever worked were proud enough of their
callsign to use it after every QSO.  I will work on this also and report
back.

Contest plans for the weekend here are a casual effort in the RAC Winter
Contest and handing out a few Q's in the Stew.

Thanks again for allowing me to faciliate you right up until the true
millenium, not this bogus one we are celebrating in a couple of weeks ;
^ )  Drop me a line with any suggestions for TCG in the coming year and
I will try to er uh, facilitate them.
