TCG Meeting Minutes - 5/17/98 - Dayton Hamvention '98

The May Meeting of the Tennessee Contest Group was held at the 
Dayton Hamvention with the following members present:

The meeting unofficially began as K4RO and WD4K checked out the 
hospitality suite at the Crowne Plaza, Thurday evening with the
"Sultans of Schwing" (See Pix on the internet).

Friday evening, the hosiptality suite was visited by K1KY, W4PA,
W9WI, and later by K4RO and WD4K. It was decided that the
meetings attended here would also qualify, as TCG issues were
being discussed.  Evidence of attendance is hereby recorded on
the sign-in sheet.  Hopefully, we will get to "see" that sheet
again sometime!

On Saturday, after a hard day at the flea-market, members
gathered in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 17:30
for cocktails and conversation. This gathering then QSYed to the
Annual Contest Banquet at 18:30, with many TCG members present.
Congratulations to those at our table who won door prizes!
It seems that anyone wearing Rod's lucky jacket won a prize.

Day 4 concluded the hamvention with a most perfect day at the flea
market.  Many TCG members were seen gathering items to improve 
their stations, scores and fun factor in the very near future.

The next meeting will be held at the Nashville Hamfest, 10:30 a.m.
as published on the TCG meeting calendar at the TCG booth.
