TCG Meeting Minutes - January 24, 1998

The second meeting of the Tennessee Contest Group for 1998 was
held at the Gallatin Hamfest.  An official business meeting was 
held at 10:00 a.m., with socializing and horse trading occuring
before, during and after.

An interesting note is that 6 of the attendees were also amid
participating in the CQWW 160 CW contest! 

Doug Smith, W9WI brought a revised copy of the Tennessee QSO
Party Rules.  TQP will be held September 20, 1998.  Upon review,
it was suggested that we suggest frequencies for the VHF/UHF
bands.  K1KY volunteered to gather the information and supply
it to Doug for final revision and publishing.  

Since there was no access to the PA system at the hamfest, as 
may be the case at future gatherings at hamfests, it was decided
to set 10:00 a.m. for all TCG meetings at area hamfests at the 
club booth. Meetings will officially adjourn upon conclusion of 
the hamfest.
